Last week the Google Mail announced to provide IMAP for Google Mail. Now all User have IMAP access. At the moment you just see the settings for IMAP in the English (US) interface, but in the coming weeks Google will launch it in all Google Mail languages.

IMAP is now also available for Google Apps users
